The Adjudication Panel for the 2019 International Essay Competition unanimously selected the essay nominated by the Knights of Saints Peter and Paul in the Gambia. Ms. Sanyang's essay won the national competition held by the Order.

MacMahon KSG, Immediate Past Supreme Knight of the Knights of St. Columbanus, Ireland, was invested as a Knights of the Pontifical Order of St. Gregory the Great By Bishop Kevin Doran, Bishop of Elphin. Knighthoods are awarded by the Holy Father for significant personal contribution to Church life and to the community.

The death has occurred of Brother Myke Mary Nwosu, Supreme Knight of the Knights of St. Mulumba, Nigeria. Brother Myke was elected Supreme Knight in August 2017. The Alliance extends its condolences to his family and to the members of his Order.
